Operator Ground Robotic Systems
The “Omega” Special Purpose Center of the National Guard of Ukraine was established to centralize the command of special forces units, ensuring more effective coordination on the battlefield—both with other security agencies and among themselves. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, special forces units have been carrying out combat missions in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions.
Duties
- Operate unmanned ground systems during combat or logistical missions
- Use UGVs to detect, identify, and neutralize enemy forces within the area of responsibility
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and preparation of UGVs for field operations
- Follow safety protocols during transportation, deployment, movement, and evacuation of robotic platforms
- Maintain a high level of personal combat readiness at all times
Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- Eagerness to learn and pursue personal development
- Willingness to work in active combat zones
- Ability to work in a team and make decisions in urgent situations
- Desire to learn and adopt new technologies
- Experience in robotics will be considered an additional advantage
Conditions
- Mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service until official demobilization is announced
- High level of financial compensation in accordance with current legislation
- Transfer of current servicemembers ONLY within the National Guard of Ukraine with the consent of their immediate commander (transfers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service are not conducted)
- Provision of all necessary gear, equipment, and resources to complete assigned tasks
