Officer/Sergeant of the Special Forces Fire Support Group
The “Omega” Special Purpose Center of the National Guard of Ukraine was established to centralize command of special forces units for more effective coordination on the battlefield with other security units and among themselves. Since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022, special forces units have been conducting combat operations in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions.
Duties
- Planning and providing fire support to main forces to reduce pressure on units during attack or retreat
- Engaging critical enemy targets (command posts, equipment, fortifications)
- Counter-battery warfare and destruction of enemy fire positions (artillery, mortars, snipers)
- Providing fire support during unit advancement or maneuvers
- Ensuring protection against air attacks and engaging low-flying targets
- Planning actions and support during evacuation and crossing of water obstacles
Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- Officer or Sergeant rank
- Medically fit for military service
- Ability to analyze received information
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Willingness to participate in combat operations
- High level of responsibility and discipline
- Desire to learn and adopt new technologies
Conditions
- Mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service until official demobilization is announced
- High level of financial compensation in accordance with current legislation
- Transfer of current servicemembers ONLY within the National Guard of Ukraine with the consent of their immediate commander (transfers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service are not conducted)
- Provision of all necessary gear, equipment, and resources to complete assigned tasks
