Final say is ours

Our motto is a symbol of will and courage. We are ready to stand to the end in defense of the state. “Omega” is the last letter of the Greek alphabet, which is why we are the ones who put the final word.

Structure

Behind each of the six “Omega” Special Purpose units are people who are writing history. Since 2014, we have been carrying out the most complex missions in defense of Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

1st Separate Unit of the Omega Special Purpose Center

The 1st Separate Unit has hundreds of successful anti-terrorist operations and combat missions under its belt, particularly in Eastern Ukraine.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit has been performing combat missions in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions.
This unit is unique in its structure, comprising assault teams, K9 handlers, and divers capable of operating both on land and underwater.

2nd Separate Unit of the Omega Special Purpose Center

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the unit has carried out missions in Sumy, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions, particularly in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Strileche, Marakhovets, Lukyantsi, Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Serebryanske Forestry, Raigorodka, Chernoshchyna, Makiivka (Svatove direction), Novovasylivka, Ulytsia, Stara Huta, Nova Huta, Seredyna-Buda.
From February 2022 to January 2023, the unit operated in Kharkiv and Sumy regions. From January to April 2023 — in Bakhmut.
The unit also countered enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups attempting to infiltrate Ukraine from Russia’s Bryansk region.
Since early July 2024, the unit has been conducting assault operations and clearing enemy forces in the north of Donetsk region.

3rd Separate Unit of the Omega Special Purpose Center

The 3rd unit participated in combat and special missions during the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in Donetsk and Luhansk regions (2014–2017), and in the defense of Mariupol.
Since the full-scale invasion began, it has carried out operations in Odesa, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions — including in Sviatohirsk, Bohorodychne, Sosnove, Tetianivka, Dolyna, Starodubivka, Piskunivka, Brusivka, Dibrova, Enerhodar, Bakhmut, Verbivka, Balakliia, Kupiansk, Stelmakhivka, Kreminna, Kopanky, Robotyne.
In June–July 2022, the unit operated near Bohorodychne.
From September 2022, the unit was active in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions.
From August 2022 to January 2023, the unit’s diver group operated under GUR MoD command near Enerhodar.

4th Separate Unit of the Omega Special Purpose Center

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this unit has operated in Kyiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions. Including Makariiv, Rivnopillia, Yahidne, Novopavlivka, Zalyman, Balakliia, Severodonetsk, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Vodiane, Pobieda, Blahodatne, Lyman, Hlyboke, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka.
From February to April 2022 — counter-sabotage operations in Lviv, Kyiv, and Chernihiv regions.
From February to June 2022 — combat and counter-sabotage operations in Kharkiv region, in June — in Luhansk region.
From November 2022 to March 2023 — missions near Velyka Novosilka, Urozhayne, Blahodatne (Donetsk region).
From December 2023 to February 2024 — reconnaissance-strike and search missions in the zone of responsibility of the “Azov” brigade (NGU) under OSG “Lyman.”

5th Separate Unit of the Omega Special Purpose Center

From its creation, the 5th Unit has been constantly involved in missions in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions — including Mariupol, Shchastia, Lobachove, Lopaskyne, Staryi Aidar, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, Avdiivka, Terny, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Borova.
The unit faced the full-scale invasion while on duty and successfully carried out defense operations in the northern and eastern sectors.
From March to December 2022 — missions in defense of Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Pavlivka.
From April to November 2023 — defensive operations in the Avdiivka direction, where they helped stop a major enemy offensive alongside other Defense Forces.
Since February 2024, the unit has conducted special operations in Terny, in coordination with the Azov brigade, then moved to the defense of Pokrovsk.
The 5th Unit has conducted numerous successful special operations, captured Russian soldiers, and destroyed enemy equipment and personnel. Their motto: “For the Future of the Nation.”

Separate Unit of the Omega Special Purpose Center — “Omega Wings”

Since 2023, this UAV-focused unit has operated in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
From February to March 2024 — active in OSG “Tavria”; May–June — in OSG “Kharkiv”; from March 2024 — in OSG “Zaporizhzhia”; from July 2024 — in OSG “Luhansk”.

Separate Combat Diver Unit of the Omega Special Purpose Center

This diver unit of the Omega SPC operates along the entire front line. It has performed combat tasks near Enerhodar and Sievierodonetsk.
Its missions include inspecting water bodies, demining shorelines, conducting sabotage operations behind enemy lines, suppressing enemy firing positions, and carrying out rescue missions.
