The separate special-purpose unit for countering enemy unmanned forces “XIII Legion Omega” of the Special Purpose Centre “Omega” of the NGU was formed in March 2026 and is already performing combat missions in the Pokrovsky direction.

The unit’s fighters fight enemy unmanned forces, conduct aerial reconnaissance, detect and destroy enemy aerial surveillance and attack assets, use electronic warfare systems, and provide protection for Ukrainian units from air threats.

The XIII Legion of Omega combines combat experience, modern technologies, and high motivation of personnel, performing tasks in one of the most difficult areas of the front.
